Red Algae

Triton has applied natural breeding and selection strategies to develop the world’s very first micro-organism that is rich in heme that was NOT produced through GMO techniques. This heme rich algae is capable of being grown in fermentation making it a scalable and economical solution for producing plant based meats.

Green Algae

Through an extensive research and discovery process, Triton has identified a highly nutritious, all-natural wild-type algae which is packed with health promoting elements.   Consisting solely of Triton’s proprietary wild-type dried algae powder (C. reinhardtii), Our green algae is an excellent source of protein, Vitamin A, iron, and omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids; it is also organic, gluten-free, and non-GM. Triton’s algae is a welcome addition to most diets, whether as a nutritional supplement or a healthy ingredient in existing or new food products.

Osteopontin (OPN)

Using an internally developed proprietary process, Triton has harnessed the creative potential of its nutritious algae to produce a protein (one of several) which has been shown to be important to human health and development.  Osteopontin, or OPN, is a powerful and effective protein which is naturally found in the mother's milk of all mammals.  OPN supports normal human health and development in a number of ways, including the development of infant immune systems, where it helps to disrupt the potential for pathogenic infections; there are also studies showing that it assists in the normal development of cognitive function.
